ABSTRACT: Let's consider a Distributed Information System (made up from the information fragment set, situated on the group of the nodes which are connected by physical channels, to which the queries generated in the same nodes address). The scheme is a closed system, for which it is necessary to carry out the productivity optimization. To achieve this goal the extensive researches in the field of query execution the mode optimization applied to data were carried out. In addition to this method, we shall consider the series of other approaches. The common feature for them is consideration of established (or generally accepted) interdependencies between the informational resources of the system in the light of the query set of the system. This set may be determined:
- heuristically during the monitoring period on the base of real one;
- theoretically during the planning of requirements for the future capacities.
The discovered dependencies between different informational fragments determine some semantics among the system components. The research can be used as a base for the computer networks optimization by model dimensionality decreasing later on (using any classification method).
